Where to Eat in Sudbury: Oscar’s Grill

Owned and operated by the Milads, a Sudbury family, since opening in 2014, Oscar’s Grill has become a favourite place to celebrate special occasions (and the staff strive to make everyday occasions special).

Enjoy a classy casual dining experience in this downtown restaurant. Attention is made to small details. The ambiance is inviting and relaxing. There’s music but it doesn’t drown out conversation. Large windows on Durham St. provide a pleasant view of the passing parade. And there are cozy booths in the back.

The enticing lunch and dinner menus are designed by the owner, Sam Milad, an experienced chef, for Sudbury tastes. Specialities include the seven-ounce hand-packed burgers made with 100 percent Northern Ontario ground meat from Penokean Hills Farms in Bruce Mines and cooked to specification.

There are vegetarian options, of course, and a children’s menu. The menu changes with the season and there are always daily specials. (Check the full menu at oscarsgrill.ca.)

Make Friday or Saturday a date night. There are dinner for two specials and live piano music.

Oscar’s would love to host your holiday party. Catering is also available.
