Located in a heritage building, Suzette Peters has created a cozy cafe with a vintage European atmosphere. Discover this magical place for a most unique experience. Settle in with a creamy latte from the espresso bar or a cup of tea in a pretty china cup, then take a moment to browse beautiful décor, jewellery and one-of-a-kind finds.
Open for breakfast, lunch and tea. The full espresso bar features Coffee of the Month Club coffee. Morning specialities include breakfast galettes, freshly baked scones, French toast, ham and egg grilled cheese, and avocado toast. For lunch, there is homemade soup, sandwiches, gourmet grilled cheese, multiple salads and homemade quiche. Vegan Wednesdays include soup of the day, grilled sandwich and a dessert or two.
Voted “Sudbury’s Best Desserts,” handmade pastries and an assortment of desserts all made fresh in the cafe’s kitchen.
This fall there will be High Tea events, and Friday Evening Tea by reservation. This dreamy space can be rented for bridal, baby showers and, private tea parties. In 2018 Cedar Nest Cafe was a finalist for the Bell Business Excellence Award for Best Business Start Up.
Open Monday to Wednesday 8 am - 4 pm, Thursday, Friday 8 am - 8 am, Saturday 10 am - 4 pm.
