The Greater Sudbury Public Library is celebrating the Royal Wedding of Prince William by hosting several Royal Teas in his honour.  Six libraries will be participating on Friday, April 29 at 2pm across Greater Sudbury.  The public is welcome to attend any of the six events.

The Main Public Library, Chelmsford, Garson, Lively, New Sudbury and Valley East Public Libraries are participating.  Each will feature a television broadcast of the wedding.  Seniors are invited, along with the public, to enjoy tea and coffee, along with refreshments on this special occasion.

"Fancy hat" dress is encouraged!

The pageantry and majesty of a royal wedding creates a fairytale atmosphere that transports guests and participants to another world.  Have you received your invitation to the wedding yet?  Well, neither have we!  But that won’t stop us from being there!
On Friday, April 29, the Art Gallery of Sudbury, Rewind 103.9 and the Cambrian Foundation  invite guests to Cambrian College’s “e-dome” to celebrate the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton.  And, while thousands will mob and line the streets of London, our guests will have front row seats, thanks to the spectacular four-screen capabilities of Cambrian College’s e-dome venue.
Guests of Breakfast With the Royals will be encouraged to make their entrances as grand as possible.  Ladies should don their most appropriate wedding attire - hats and gloves will be encouraged.  While we are not able to accommodate horse-drawn carriages, footmen will be on hand to escort our guests in.
For tickets, please contact the Art Gallery of Sudbury or the Cambrian Foundation.

The Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) will host a luncheon on April 29 to celebrate the Royal Wedding. Tickets to the luncheon at Bryston’s On The Park cost $40 per person, and include tea and other English treats. Events begin at noon and end around 1:30 p.m. Proceeds from the luncheon support the NOSM Bursary fund. For more information, contact Kathryn Needham at 705-662-7154.
