Tickets for Theatre Cambrian's highly anticipated The Best of Billboard Concert are now on sale. "We are taking this opportunity to pay tribute to some of Billboard Music Chart's top performers of all time," states executive director Mark Mannisto. "We are also using this event as a means of performing numbers that will appeal to all music lovers. Country, Rock 'n' Roll, R & B, Pop, and more chart toppers will be featured" The world's premier music publication, Billboard, has served the entertainment business since 1894. Beginning as a weekly for the billposting and advertising business, Billboard and its popular music charts have evolved into the primary source of information on trends and innovation in music, serving music fans, artists, top executives, tour promoters, publishers, radio programmers, lawyers, retailers, digital entrepreneurs, and many others. Some of the artists to whom Theatre Cambrian will pay tribute include Shania Twain, Bobby Darin, The Beach Boys, Tina Turner, Michael Jackson, Elton John, Billy Joel, The Rolling Stones and more. The Best of Billboard Concert will run September 28-October 2. Theatre Cambrian is presenting The Best of Billboard at Sudbury Secondary School on Sept. 28-Oct. 2. Tickets, are $28 for adults, $22 for seniors and students and $17 for children 13 and under. Tickets for all of the productions may be purchased at the Theatre Cambrian office located at 40 Eyre Street or by calling 524-7317.
