Sudbury teens win business awards

The Northern Ontario Influential Women of Northern Ontario awards program have announced this year's northeast and northwest award winners of the private and public sectors and young entrepreneurs.

In the northeast, Young Entrepreneur Award went to Darby-Reed and Brenna Massimiliano of Sudbury, who are the teen owners of Fric & Frac Jewelry.

The ceremonies and tradeshow were held at Sault Ste. Marie’s Algoma’s Water Tower Inn, and Thunder Bay's Victoria Inn June 1 and June 3 respectively.

The sisters were also presented the 2010 Student Business Award by the Business and Professional Women's Association at a dinner June 9.
