Feelin' Groovy

Fall 2008 |

Designers of this fall’s fashions for children and t’weens got their ideas from looking at their old high school yearbooks. The 1970s hippie look is what the coolest of the cool kids are wearing back to school in 2008.

Jewel colours such as fushia are matched with bold colours like tangerine. Vintage-looking T-shirts are paired with dark-washed demin bell bottom or boot cut jeans. Comfy corduroy and soft valour are making a comeback. Hoodies with embroidered sports teams or university logos continue to be popular for boys.

Girls are trading in their sports clothes for little dresses and skirts worn with leggings.
