Nov. 15

Theatre Cambrian presents The Addams Family, Musical Comedy from Nov. 15 to 24 at the Sudbury Theatre Centre, 170 Shaughnessy St., (705.674.8381, [email protected])


Nov. 17

Santa comes to town. The Sudbury Santa Claus Parade is a 60-year tradition in Sudbury. Making its way through the downtown, the theme for this year’s parade is 60 Years of Christmas Magic. The parade, which will start at 5:30 pm, is followed by a fireworks display.


Nov. 17

Paw Patrol Live at the Sudbury Arena at 10 am and 2 pm, as well as Sunday, Nov. 18 at 10 am. Tickets available at the box office on Elgin St., online at, and by telephone at 705.671.3000.



Nov. 24

Explore downtown during the Sudbury Art Crawl. The art crawl is free and is being held in partnership with Makers North which is hosting the Holiday Maker’s Market on the Nov. 24 and 25 from 11 am to 4 pm at the McEwen School of Architecture. Eighty talented vendors are featured. There is a small admission charge for the market.


Dec. 1

Sudbury Symphony Orchestra presents holiday concerts at 2 pm and 7:30 pm at Fraser Auditorium.


Dec. 6

Plaid Tidings features the Forever Plaid quartet with a Christmas theme. Opening at the Sudbury Theatre Centre which runs to Dec. 22. Directed by John McHenry. (705.674.8381, [email protected])


Dec. 14

Northern Lights Festival Boréal is bringing Sultans of String back to the city for another Christmas show. Celebrate the season with an adventurous musical trip around the world at the Collège Boréal Concert Hall. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $30 advance ($35 at the door) and available at the NLFB office (19 Grey St.), Old Rock Coffee (Minto St.), and A & J Home Hardware. (705.674.5512)

Théâtre du Nouvel-Ontario (TNO) presents a Theatre Gourmet Bundle evening.  Enjoy a three-course meal prepared by La Coopérative du Collège Boréal and served at Au pied du rocher restaurant, for theatregoers attending As Is (tel quel).
