The Peter Schneider Concert Series returns this summer with performances by talented local artists every Sunday evening.
Aug. 6 MIKE TRUDELL – With 3 singles on Country Radio this singer/songwriter is no stranger to the Canadian country music scene. After a nudge from singer George Canyon, Mike decided to leave the medical field and play music full time. – Grace Hartman Amphitheatre
Aug. 13 KELLY PERRAS & KEVIN O’DONNELL – This powerhouse vocal duo delivers exhilarating performances of legendary Canadian songwriters ranging from Leonard Cohen to Joni Mitchell, the Guess Who and Arcade Fire. William Bell Gazebo
Aug. 20 SWING FEVER OCTET – The Swing Fever Octet are a perennial favorite of the concert series attracting hundreds of listeners and dancers each summer. The band incorporates many well-known tunes with varied rhythms for toe tapping and high stepping. They play current hits with ballroom and big band sounds to round out two hours of music under the stars. (7:00-9:00p.m.)– Katherine Bell
Times: Concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. and end around 8:00 p.m.
Location: All concerts will take place in Bell Park at one of three locations; the William Bell Gazebo (white gazebo with a green roof), the Katherine Bell Gazebo (on the boardwalk with the dancing on the deck), or at the Grace Hartman Amphitheatre.
Admission: Concerts are free of charge
Parking: Elizabeth Street Parking – Follow Paris Street to John Street and turn right onto Elizabeth.
York Street Parking – Follow Paris Street to park at York. Access the Jim Gordon Boardwalk through Bell Park.
Seating: Concerts are held outdoors. Bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating.
Rain Venue: If undesirable weather occurs, the concert will be performed at St. Peter’s United Church located at 203 York St. *Grace Hartman Amphitheatre concerts are rain or shine.
