Cambrian College’s Orientation Week started Tuesday and the college has planned an energizing assortment of academic, social and cultural events designed with student success and student life in mind.
On Tuesday, all first-year students were invited to participate in Orientation Day, which involved a high-energy Pep Rally. During Orientation Day, students will also meet their professors at program information sessions and find out about campus services and supports. Wednesday is the first day of classes for all students.
Cambrian’s student government leaders have also planned a full schedule of Frosh Week activities from Sept. 6-9, and all students are invited to join the fun.
Frosh Week and Orientation Week events are intended to help students ease back into school, academically, socially, and culturally. Tailored orientation events are also dedicated to students who are the first in their family to pursue post-secondary studies, international students, and those of indigenous descent.
