As the 2012 back to school date approaches, Collège Boréal has seen a 15 percent increase in its confirmations as compared to last year. These official numbers provided by the Ontario College Application Service (OCAS) represent the highest increase Collège Boréal has experienced since its creation in 1995.
In a news release, the college said, this increase in the number of confirmations significantly exceeds the average 2.9 percent increase among the 24 colleges of applied arts and technology in the province. Recording the highest growth among all colleges in Northern Ontario, Collège Boréal also stands out in the Central-South-West region where enrolment has quadrupled after only 10 years of existence.
“Year after year, Collège Boréal has distinguished itself though its performance and innovative spirit. We are honored by the trust we receive from more and more students, counsellors and parents, which stems from this tangible evidence of a high quality postsecondary education,” says Denis Hubert-Dutrisac, president of Collège Boréal.
By showing excellent results once again this year in relation to provincial performance indicators and by offering especially meaningful educational initiatives to its students, Collège Boréal is pursuing its growth, while highlighting the excellence that distinguishes college education in Ontario.
