Giggles for a good cause

Sudbury Living Magazine June 1, 2012 Our Town No Comments on Giggles for a good cause

The Wild about Comedy Night was a fun evening with a serious cause. The community came out to support the Wild at Heart Wildlife Refuse Centre at the fundraiser April 14 held at the Radisson Centre. Last year about 600 animals were assisted at the wildlife refuge centre in Lively.

1. Wildlife centre executive director Jenny Latrielle and volunteers Lisa McIvor and Samantha Kuula.

2. Filmmaker Beth Mairs bids on one of the auction items.

3. Event organizer Linda Munaretto (front) with Mary and Rod Jouppi.

4. Lynn Latrielle made this beautiful Japanese hoari for the auction. Her work is available at Artists on Elgin.

5. Dr. Rod Jouppi, founder of the Wild at Heart Wildlife Refuge Centre.

6. Fawn at Rest, a beautiful stained-glass panel, donated by Gaetanne Glaudu, was one of the auction items.
